Self-Guided

Workshops

Work through them in order, 1 through 4, each one builds on the last. Most lessons run right here in your browser: no installs, no accounts, no setup.

Workshop 1 · Welcome to Computing

Ready

No prerequisites — start here if you're brand new to coding.

Your first steps in Python: printing to the screen, escape sequences, data types, variables, and taking input from a user.

Dungeons

Tier 3

Capstone project

A full text-based dungeon crawler game project that pulls together everything from Workshops 1–4.

Dungeons is a full Python project rather than a set of notebooks, it's designed to run on SLCCE's planned Tier 3 JupyterHub platform rather than in Colab. Not available yet, no action needed for now.
